I have finished 200 pages and there are only 328 pages in the entire book. Hopefully I will be able to get through the rest of the book by the end of next week. So having completed 100 more pages, I am beginning to like the book even more. The book isn't turning out to be how I thought it would. Before, completing 200 pages, I thought the book would be somewhat dragged out and long. Now after i have finished completing 200 pages, it is really interesting.
At first I didn't know exactly where this book would be going. I figured, its just going to be about the same thing, how people are mourning and endlessly as well as futiley looking for the killer. Although the police haven't realized that it was Mr. Harvey that raped and murdered Susie, Lindsey took action in trying to provide evidence because she too believes it was him that killed her. So far in the book, Susie got raped then murdered. People mourned for her and still don't know for sure who was the one that committed the crime. Her mother seems not very interested in finding out who the murderer is. She is now having an affair with the main detective investigating on her case. His wife killed herself years ago. I think that the only reason why Susie's mother is having an affair is because she wants to get away from all the pain and thinks that its a way to get away for a while.
Also, Susie in heaven, met the many other girls Mr. Harvey has killed in the past. What I am wondering now, is
why does Mr. Harvey so cruel? What is the motive for him to kill all these women and girls? I really hope that this book stays interesting. I also want to see Mr. Harvey be found guilty hopefully it'll happen soon. I am going to continue reading and hopefully finish within a week or maybe a week and a half .

I read "Lovely Bones" and i liked it ALOT. I normally don't read books in which a character dies, and everyone else mourns the charecter, and when I started reading this book, that's exactly what I thought this book was going to be about. But it wasn't. It was much more. I found myself intrigued by all the precise precautions Mr.Harvey went through, to kill Susie and all the other little girls. I hope this book keeps you interested until the end!
(Oh. I read your comment on Jessica's blog about "My Sister's Keeper," and the reason people keep recommending the book, is because IT'S SO GOOD. You must read it after you're done "Lovely Bones.")
I wanted to read this book but there was no more copies left.
Why is that dude so creepy..?
I think all people who rape and kill are crazy.
They are like mental or something and i pretty much hate them.
They're disgusting
I hope the girl gets some justice
I read Lovely Bones last year and it was a very good book! I liked the part when the author wrote about Susie's "Heaven" and how it was somewhat different from what she expected. I was scared of Mr. Harvy >< I have no idea why he killed all those girls.....
~enjoy the book!~
Hi Femily!! I saw you reading that book on the bus with me. I want to read that book next. Tazz sounds really funny. I'm going to read that book after you. I also want to see the girl have justice! Mr. Harvey is so evil. You are reading faster than me!! (haha) Have fun! But wait who is Lindsey? Is she that girl who was waiting for her boyfriend and then Susie's dad tried to kill her cause he thought it was Mr. Harvey but then her boyfriend knocked out Susie's dad and now he's in the hospital? (remember when you told me this on the bus?) Stop it Meher! (Sorry he keeps bothering me) Okay, now bye (meher: no im not, hi femily) Ignore that. Bye femily!!
